Unfortunately, my home town has plenty of abandoned housing stock in the South City area. Beautiful, huge brick homes built in the late 18th or early 19th century. Back when a 2x4 was actually closer to three by five inches. I was passing by the charred  remains of one such abandoned house fire not long after they STLFD had snuffed the flames. I was struck by the mangled mess of bricks and timbers. I had to stop and throw a few pieces in the back of my truck. I mean, why else do you own a truck, right? They don't call it a 'pickup' for nothin'.

Each set is cut from the same piece of salvage timber. The ends are sanded clear and smooth, sealed with wax. Drilled to fit a 'decorative' votive tea candle in the top and padded with salvage leather splits on the bottom. Laser engraved with a Fleur-De-Lis in reference to the main symbol of the St. Louis city flag.
